* Hammer prices and bid increments at our auction are not negotiable. * Late Payment: If payment is not received within fifteen (14) Days of the auction close date, FAC reserves the right to charge an interest payment of 2% of the invoice price per month until the invoice is paid. This is an automated process that requires nothing of the buyer other than to ensure they registered with the correct credit card. We will charge the registered credit card on file at the end of the auction, once all the bids are in. * All invoices must be paid in full directly after the close of the auction. Once the auctioneers hammer has dropped, the sale is final and title to the item or lot moves to the winning bidder. Items may be extended past their scheduled ending time so that all bids for any particular item may be accepted. * For auctions selling on multiple web platforms, the Auctioneer has sole discretion to sell any item to the highest bidder, regardless of the website they bid on. The Auction House will NEVER charge any buyer for more than their invoice which may include buyers premium, sales tax, shipping fees and storage fees. * The Auction House reserves the right to charge a deposit during the close of the auction if winning bids for any new registered bidder reach above $1000 (one thousand dollars). No refund will be extended as a result of buyer forfeiture. The buyer agrees to request shipping in writing to and they risk forfeiting their items if this request is not made within 7 days of the auction close. * We will not assume you require shipping for any reason. * For items which remain un-claimed during the pickup window: Standard storage fees are $5 per lot, per day, beginning Tuesday following the pickup window. The intricate brass detailed clock face is in superb condition. There exist on all three pieces small chips to the slate exterior as photographed, throughout. NOTE CONDITION: Overall the clock is well preserved. The trademark "Deux Medailles" can be found on his clocks after he won two gold medals at Parisian art exhibitions for his designs. He was known to have worked in the French clock makers region of Montbeliard and on the Rue de Turenne in Paris. The clock mechanism back plate is marked with AD MOUGIN DEUX MEDAILLE one-star badge, a "5506" and a "4 11"AD Mougin was a well know French clock maker of the mid to late 1800's. Made of Slate, with a cast iron frame and brass garnishments. Flanked by fluted Corinthian columns which wrap around the sides of the temple. The clock itself features brass capitol frieze with horses and lions set over flying angels atop engaged pilasters on the architrave. Brass lion heads flank each urn, above a fluted Corinthian colonnade. Key included! The clock is in a neoclassical style with clear ancient roman influence. Late-19th century French clock and pair of Garniture in the form of urns, which hold one candle each.
